Adenocarcinomas
Adenocarcinomas are malignant tumors formed from glandular cells in epithelial tissue. They can grow in a variety of tissues including the breast, lung, prostate, gastrointestinal tract like the colon, rectum, pancreas, stomach, esophagus.
They are diagnosed and distinguished from other cancer histologies by microscopy examination.
Conventional management and treatment of adenocarcinoma differ depending on the primary site of disease as well as the stage of cancer.
Sarcomas
Sarcomas are also a type of cancer that can occur in various locations in your body. Generally, it is term for a broad group of cancers that begin in the bones and in the soft tissues (soft tissue sarcoma), including muscle, fat, blood vessels, nerves, tendons and the lining of your joints.
Currently, there are more than 70 types of sarcoma recognized and treatment varies greatly depending on the site.
Carcinomas
Carcinoma is the most common type of cancer. It begins in the epithelial tissue of the skin, or in the tissue that lines internal organs, such as the liver or kidneys.
Carcinomas can spread to other parts of the body, or be confined to the primary location.
Basal Cell Carcinoma is the most common skin cancer; Squamous Cell Carcinoma is the second most common skin cancer and Renal Cell Carcinoma the most common type of kidney cancer. Ductal carcinoma in situ is the most common type of breast cancer and, along with Invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast, these carcinomas make up the most common cancers seen.
Cancer vs. Tumor
The terms cancer and tumor have been relatively interchangeable. The problem has been that the medical nomenclature has changed over the years. Technically, a tumor can be a benign or malignant tumor, it really depends on the rate of replication and the aggressiveness of infiltration to surrounding tissue.
Benign tumors can further be graded to indicate severity. All this may seem confusing, because it is. No one ever really knows how dangerous a cancer is and the rate of replication change change quite quickly.
Primary vs. Metastatic
The initial tissue where the cancer started is considered the primary tumor. It will possess those cells and this is how it is identified. Should circulating tumor cells (CTCs) break off and search for another location to multiply, if successful, it is considered a metastatic tumor.
There have been instances when a person had symptoms of dysfunction in one area, let's use lung issues as an example. When an examination was performed, it was discovered that they had cancer in the lung. Upon biopsy, however, the cancerous cells were breast cells making it metastatic breast cancer though the person never noticed any lump or other sign of disease in the breast.
If a person's primary cancer metastasizes to another organ it remains the same cells. For example, colon cancer metastasized to the liver is NOT liver cancer but still colon cancer cells in the liver and needs to be treated as such.
What if it has Metastasized?
How do I know if it's working?

What Does Natural, Alternative Cancer Coaching Look Like?
Natural, Alternative Coaching begins with a completely different way of looking at disease and the body. We don't treat cancer, or any disease, because that won't help in the end. The questions you need to ask are: Why do you have cancer and why is your body responding the way that it is? We believe there's always a reason, a root cause or causes, for why you have ill-health. We’ll help uncover the why and create a personalized care plan to help treat the cause naturally.
Alternative coaching shouldn't be the alternative...it should be the essential starting point!
