Advanced Glycated End products (AGEs) are a name given to nasty little culprits formed when sugar molecules attach to proteins (usually under high heat) and make a sticky mess in our bodies. These AGEs have been studied as a major contributor to heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and other degenerative diseases but now have been found to contribute to metastasis in cancer.
