Green tea has many amazing medicinal qualities!

Green tea (Camelia sinensis) is an abundant source of antioxidants. Previous studies have suggested that supplements of green tea extract may confer a variety of cardiovascular and cancer protective effects.

Green tea, while different than extract or EGCg, is a powerful antioxidant & can help with inflammation. It’s also a much healthier way to consume caffeine, especially. Rather than consuming caffeine through coffee, green tea does not create an energy spike, but rather, can boost alertness & will not contribute to anxiety or insomnia.

What you’ll need:

1 bag Green tea or tablespoon loose

1/2 cup Almond milk or raw milk

2 teaspoons honey

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Steps:

Heat up your water in an electric kettle or kettle on the stove. Use an organic green tea & steep in hot water for about 5 minutes.

Add milk, honey & cinnamon & whisk until fully combined. Add this mixture to your green tea.

Enjoy!
