If I had not Believed
In the middle of despair, when the pain crowds out my hope,
I need a friend, to remind me, again.
I need a word, to console me, again.

Be gracious and compassionate to me and answer me.
When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You,
“Your face, O Lord, I will seek”
I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord

Be strong and let your heart take courage;
