Lumbroxym from U.S. Enzymes
Lubroxym | U.S. Enzymes, Lumbrokinase
Hello, everybody, this is Dr. Kevin Conners, and I want to do a brief overview on a brand new product that we have out from U.S. Enzymes called Lumbroxym. People often say, “Lumbro, is that for my lumbar nerves? Is that for my low back?”
Lumbrokinase is an Anti-Thrombotic Enzyme from Earth Worms
Lumbroxym is an enzyme made up of lumbrokinase. Lumbrokinase has nothing to do with your low back. Lumbrokinase is actually an enzyme that was discovered coming from certain species of earth worms. Who would think earth worms are good for us? Lumbrokinase has been shown to be fantastic as an anti-thrombotic agent. So, thrombocytes, also known as platelets, are certain types of cells, red blood cells, that help your body to keep the red blood cells together. That’s what thrombocytes do. They help with clotting.
So, an anti-thrombotic agent helps break down clotting or helps prevent clotting. Blood clots have a purpose in your body to heal wounds, to heal wounds on a vessel. You need clotting agents to do that, so they have a purpose. But too much clotting in the blood cells causes this Rouleaux formation where red blood cells stack up upon each other, and clots can then of course cause myocardial infarctions. That is a heart attack. It can cause deep vein thrombosis, and strokes are all caused from clots.
Lumbroxyme for Stroke, Heart Disease, and Myocardial Infarction?
So an example of a drug that would be used as an anti-clotting agent would be like Plavix or Kumodin or Warfarin. Those are blood thinners, or what is known as anti-thrombotic agents. So Lumbroxym or lumbrokinase, the enzyme in there, has been shown with numerous studies, and I’ll show you a few of those, to be very beneficial to do the same thing from a natural perspective. Now, you wouldn’t want to use a product like this if you’re on Kumodin or Plavix or something like that, because you could end up with bleeding issues. You could get too much anti-thrombotic activity. You need clots for certain purposes. But in today’s day and age, you hear more and more about blood clotting and rouleaux formation and stroke issues and heart issues.
Myocardial infarction is the number one cause of death still in the United States. So, dealing with that from a natural perspective might be a wise thing to do. And I always suggest that you speak to your doctor about that. So, interestingly enough is that as we look at the Lumbroxym, they actually put in it, not only the lumbrokinase, but also catalase. If you remember any of my videos on genetics, a superoxide ion that’s produced through a natural pathway and certainly through oxidative stress, you get an extra superoxide ion produced, which can cause major oxidative stress that’s broken down through superoxide dismutase and an enzyme called catalase.
So catalase is also a component of Lumbroxym, which is very fitting to decrease oxidative stress in the body as well. And U.S. Enzymes proprietary Astrozyme, they put in all their products, which is a great proprietary enzyme. So it’s a great thing for cardiovascular and circulatory health. That’s a great product. There’s other lumbrokinase products on the market. The problem is that most of the ones that are on the market are synthetic. U.S. Enzymes has worked for several years to get a natural source of lumbrokinase that’s a clean source. If you remember any of my other videos on U.S. Enzymes, the reason why I love their products so much is that they’re so anal and getting perfect clean sources for all their products. That’s why they have a very small product line, and they specialize in enzymes, and they’ve been searching for this clean source for a number of years. This product has just come out. So it’s a great added thing for any type of clotting issues, stroke issues, or thrombosis issues. It’s a great product to consider.
Research Articles on Lumbrokinase
Here’s one study1 showing lumbrokinase as improving myocardia perfusion in stable angina patients. Another study2 showing lumbrokinase attenuates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury by inhibiting a certain signaling molecule. This study3 is showing the different mechanisms on how this enzyme works in oral fibrinogen-depleting agents. That’s what it’s actually doing, is depleting fibrinogen, which is the clotting factor creating more fibrinogen which helps binds the cells together. And this can help prevent stroke. So that’s a neat study there that shows that lumbrokinase can be an effective agent aiding that anti-thrombotic activity that we are seeking in this.
So, it’s a great product to consider if you’re looking for a product to help decrease or minimalize the possibility of stroke on a preventative basis, or the possibility of heart disease, including myocardial infarction, which can be a preventable disease. Of course, we would say that you couple it with other agents that we’ve spoken about, Nanozym and some other things that we utilize as well. And of course, you get this checked with your doctor and making sure that you’re dealing with the blood pressure issues as well.
Find Lumbroxym on our store (Shop.ConnersClinic.com). The suggested use is to take one to two a day, on an empty stomach. Because it’s an enzyme, you don’t want it to work on food in your stomach, you want to be able to absorb that enzyme and have it work in the bloodstream more than anything. That’s the whole purpose of taking it. So it’s best to take it on an empty stomach, maybe right when you wake up or right before you go to bed, one to two a day. And if you do take two, I always suggest, like any other product, you split it up because these things have a half-life in your body. So, take one right away when you wake up, and one right when you go to bed or on an empty stomach or around that time.
