This quick & easy recipe is a perfect one for in season summer peaches!
Peaches are a great source of Vitamin A & Vitamin C. They contain vital minerals that help with deficiencies & cell support. Peaches also act as an antioxidant & aid in digestion!
For this recipe, you can also add a good quality protein powder, but you may need to add more liquid. There are not many protein powders out there that truly have good ingredients. Because the industry is very greenwasher, we implore you to research the labels before buying if you are planning on using protein powder. We recommend U.S. Enzymes protein powder!
We also tested out this recipe with organic raw milk & it was a great alternative to make it a bit thicker!
What you’ll need:
1/2 cup old fashioned gluten free oats
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup chopped peaches
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt or dairy free yogurt
1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Steps:
Place all ingredients in a container & mix well together. Seal with a lid & place in the fridge overnight.
In the morning, take container out of the fridge & stir. You may need to add a little more almond milk, as the oats will soak up the liquid.
Top oats with additional peaches or any other toppings & serve!
Enjoy!
