There are several types of cancer that can be more directly linked to exogenous hormone exposure. These hormone-related cancers include breast, endometrial, ovarian, prostate, testes, and thyroid.
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women and estrogens (estradiol and estrone) can play a pivotal role in the initiation and progression.
