Overnight oats have become very popular due to its easy prep & variety of tasty recipes. Making these yummy meals does not require many ingredients & can be switched up in any way to your liking. 

This particular recipe was created by Eatingbirdfood.com but there are many ways to make overnight oats your very own! 

The great thing about this recipe is that it is allergy friendly & contains no sugar, so it can be beneficial for those who are changing up their diet when on a cancer protocol. 

Add any kind of berries you like, your favorite nut milk, or dairy free yogurt to switch it up. The choice is yours!

What you’ll need: 

1/2 cup old fashioned gluten free oats

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/2 cup chopped strawberries

1/4 cup plain greek yogurt 

1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

Steps:

Place all ingredients in a container & mix well together. Seal with a lid & place in the fridge overnight.

In the morning, take container out of the fridge & stir. You may need to add a little more almond milk, as the oats will soak up the liquid. 

Top oats with additional strawberries or any other toppings & serve!
